Executive Agenda (EA) is committed to helping executives be more successful through issue discussion, problem resolution, idea sharing and accountability within tightly knit groups of 12 – 15 members representing various functional disciplines from non-competing companies. EA benefits include helping members make better decisions; be accountable; experience professional and personal growth; overcome any sense of isolation; and initiate and manage appropriate change.

    EXECUTIVE COACHING:
I lead executive peer groups in the greater Madison, WI area that offer deep professional and personal growth and development. Called Executive Agenda, each group consists of 12-16 hand-selected, non-competing executives from all business disciplines and from various industries. Working with leaders who are passionate about what they do and have a variety of opinions, backgrounds and job functions brings me great energy and joy. We meet quarterly in a safe, trusting environment to help address each person’s issues and opportunities, offer guidance around potential next steps, and hold members accountable for follow-up on each action item. During our individual 1:1 sessions, I listen intently and ask probing questions so that you discover what is at the root of your issue and find creative solutions. Through these processes and discussions, participants grow to become even greater exceptional leaders.

    March 13th Program Presentation

The 2 Step Sales Process for Consultants

with Reuben Swartz, Founder of Mimiran

It's easy to make sales and marketing too complicated. (I spent over a decade as a sales and marketing consultant to Fortune 500 companies, and I made the mistake of trying to adopt processes that worked for my clients into my tiny business.) The simpler, the better.

If you're in a relationship business, you're in a conversation business.

And if you're in a conversation business, here's your 2-step sales (and marketing) process:

    1. Figure out exactly who you want to have conversations with.

    2. Have conversations with them.

    That's it.

    ABOUT THE PRESENTER

    Reuben Swartz

Reuben Swartz is the founder of Mimiran, the fun CRM for independent consultants who love serving clients but hate "selling". He's also the host and chief nerd on the Sales for Nerds podcast. He went from a background in computer science and software engineering to sales and marketing consulting for the Fortune 500, while struggling with sales and marketing for his own firm. His mission is to help other independent consultants make a bigger dent in the universe and get more clients by using their talents to teach instead of market, connect instead of network, and help instead of sell.

    Hope to see you there!
